NEDA Undersecretary for Policy and Planning Group, Dr. Rosemarie Edillon discussed the evolution of the development plans in the country, including its political and economic gains throughout the years. In addition, she also gave an overview of the PDP in relation to the Ambisyon Nation 2040.
Ms. Jamie Lyn Daileg, the Senate Committee Secretary for Economic Affairs, served as the moderator of the lecture and gave her synthesis of the discussion.

Ms. Daileg facilitated the open forum between the resource persons, Dr. Esguerra and NEDA USec. Edillon and the CBILLS participants at the DAP Virata Hall.
Dr. Emmanuel Esguerra served as the first speaker of the lecture. He discussed the economic growth of the Philippines through the decades using the lens of labor productivity and tackled the development implications of these to our country.
Ms. Priscila Esther Relova, Associate Project Officer of the DAP Center for Governance - Policy Research Office served as the host of the lecture.
Atty. Dana Paula Alberto, Senate of the Philippines’ Committee Secretary on Foreign Relations, served as the moderator of the lecture.
Dr. Charmaine Willoughby served as the first speaker of the lecture. She discussed the current global and Asian geopolitics trends and their importance in the Philippines.
Acting Deputy Undersecretary Hans Mohaimin Siriban of the Department of Foreign Affairs - Office of the Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations and ASEAN Affairs (OUBRAA) shared how the Philippine government is navigating through the current and emerging geopolitical trends in order to forward its economic and socio-political interests through the three pillars of Philippine foreign policy.
Dr. Rosa Perez served as a session speaker on Climate Crisis in the Philippines and the Science Behind It.
Mr. Rommel Reyes, House Committee Secretary on Climate Change, served as the moderator and facilitated the open forum of the lecture.
